I guess that is all, my recommendation would be to see maps of every app, then ask yourself how much time (and money) you want to spend and how good your maps want to be. There are of course many drawing apps for if you just want to draw with a pen, but i guess you wouldnt be here in that case. CC3+ can get close to Photoshop in the right hands. Also, it needs you to be a bit an arty person yourself. Photoshop creates the most stunning, arty maps but require lots of time and also mastering the app. Dont shun about some map styles which look like 90s maps, there are lots of beautiful ones.Īnd of course there is another option if you want to go pro. On the contrary, if you plan to spend hours and hours mapping and dont mind a steep learning curve, want alot of options and also lots of flexibility over the maps you create and want to switch from styles, and also want the best options for going Overland Maps/regional maps/city maps/dungeon maps, then your best option is CC3+. okay, it has another one but it´s not as good) but still want a somewhat fast to use app with good learning curve and not much variety, then go for Wonderdraft. If you dont like Inkarnate style (which is beautiful, but that´s all.

If you just need some maps for your campaign, which you will always play on the same world, id recommend you Inkarnate Pro. Agree with Sue, it depends on what you want.
